Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs in Costa Rica

Yesterday we visited the Arenal Volcano and associated hot springs which are located about 2.5 hours from San Jose via bus. The area at the base of the volcano where the hot springs are located was very beautiful and the springs themselves were great to sit in even though the day was pretty warm.
