On our final day in Costa Rica, we visited (tried to visit) Poas Volcano which is located about 20 miles from the capital city of San Jose. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and the volcano was covered in clouds for all but about one minute while we were there. There are still a couple of good pictures, including one of Kim trying to blow the clouds away. We also visited the Metallic Church in Grecia which was built completely of metal more than 100 years ago after the first church in the town was destroyed by an earth quake and the second was destroyed by fire. Finally we visited Sarchi which is the craft capital of Costa Rica since this was our final day to get some souvenirs. In Sarchi, one of the places we visited was the Ox Cart Factory which has been used since 1923. Most of the machinery is still driven by a water wheel/belt system.
