Cave Creek Canyon

This trail has a lot of shade in the beginning while it is by the creek. This 1.5 to 2 mile section could be done year round. Once you reach the switchbacks and head towards the Florida saddle, I wouldn't recommend it in the summer unless you handle the heat well and have lots of water.
